once upon a time this karen hanrahan, this shaklee independent distributor, this best of mother earth found herself facing a bit if a fiscal pickle
and while this fiscal pickle was pending and inevitable the reality of it was seriously overwhelming

what would she do ??

she had to act fast, think creatively and shift her entire way of living

on a bit of a whim she viewed eleven houses in a city far away
and ended up putting a bid on one that was accepted!

hard to imagine that someone in a fiscal pickle could purchase a home
but it’s totally happening!!

this mother earth is moving!!

this mother earth is a homeowner!!!

the last few weeks have been quite the blur.

lots of major decisions, lots of VERY creative borrowing, and lots and lots of packing.

friends have reached into their hearts, pocketbooks and shared their strong backs and hands to offer a helping hand.

i can’t even begin to explain the wow that’s just happened.

for those of you who can take advantage of obama’s first time buy opportunity …what are you waiting for?

$8000 free money. Thank You!!

To the long list of folks who have helped me along the way …I am humbled and in awe of your generosity and kindness

thank you for your belief in me

together we pulled this transaction out of a hat

a very beautiful brightly colored hat with brilliant feathers in it hat

Our world currently exists of stacks and stacks of cardboard boxes, tape, plastic bags, garbage and/or donation piles.

the picture above cracks me up — see the old box labeled “kichen”  made by my daughter some former move?

Where the heck do some of those queer baskets come from ?

could someone please tell me which of these boxes has my spare camera battery and charger?

I know — blurry, totally like these last few weeks

you should see all the boxes in the basement

( grin )
