I asked him what the heck this was

his reply morning glory

he encouraged me to get rid of the pod and it’s seeds

they are weedy he said

by the time i went back outside the pods had naturally emptied

    It’s actually a “milkweed pod” – favorite food of Monarch butterflies and other of Nature’s Lovelies! It’s a valuable Native Wild Flower that thrives in moist areas.

    Some consider it a “weed” – if they don’t believe that ‘flowers that I didn’t plant’ still count as ‘flowers’.

      and he’s a landscaper
      i’ve got them along my wires
      the plant of which was /is
      morning glory like

      either way – i think they are interesting
