146 Reasons To Stop Eating Sugar

Tis the beginning of the season of sugar-centric holidays. I personally believe sugar is an addiction. Try this experiment. Stop consuming sugar for 30 days. It’s actually harder than you might think to quit. What’s worse is when you discover how many sugars are hidden in your every day foods.  You think you’ve gotten through an entire day without obvious sugary foods only to find your salad dressing has sugar in it or your toothpaste or worse yet – your frozen peas!!!

Once you have completely stopped eating sugar  – stay off of it for several weeks straight

Then as part of the experiment re-introduce it.

You will literally find yourself not able to think about anything else.

Observe how you feel once you start eating it again.

I am a truck driver, I try to get as much activity as I can and go to the gym while I am home on my hometime, I used to eat sugar and flying J truck stop pizza. My sugar was almost 300, almost lost my job, I was always tired, pulling over to take naps, I felt like crappy and depressed all the time and very bloated. Now that I take all my food with me, turkey, fresh veggies and fruit and lots of water, NO POP AND AS LITTLE SUGAR AS i CAN DO, I feel so much better, I can drive 700 miles strait with out even getting tired, I have lost over 30 lbs so far, ever since I stopped eating sugar and pizza and bread stuff, I feel so great, love it. and my sugar numbers have come down to the low 100’s so thank you to no sugar.

This doesn’t include fruit sugar, right? 🙂 I sure love the fruit! (though I will strive to keep them in moderation, too)

I can swear off sugar (former college student sugar binger here, going on a 21 day sugar detox, sans fruit, too) but definitely don’t plan on giving up fruit/natural sugars like honey!
