Blender Avocado Dressing

Blender Avocado Dressing.

I was drawn to this recipe because of how inexpensive it was to make and how simple.

In a blender pulse together

one ripe avacado

one clove of garlic

2 T of parsley

2 T of lemon

salt, white pepper

Blend.

Add while running 2 T of olive oil.

This was the recipe as is

I added 1 T of yogurt

Awesome dressing!!

once i added a serrano pepper to this and it didn’t compliment it at all – i case you choose to experiment.  cayenne pepper added would be my suggestion if you want some hot to it.

Sounds yummy, as usual! Hmmmm ~ Possible fix for the OD of serrano ~ make another batch (or two!) without any, and mix ’em together ~ then have friends over for tea-et-salad! 😉

    Bright blessings, dear! K

I came upon this recipe while searching for an avocado dressing, and I wonder, why would you post a recipe that you yourself find not good? It would have been helpful if you had tried it again and found the right amount of pepper or no pepper, that pleased you so that a reader like me could have some confidence in trying it.

I made this tonight and had it over a Fajita Taco Salad! I added in the cayenne as well as some crushed red pepper and extra garlic. It was awesome, thank you so much for sharing!!

This sounds like a very healthy dressing. I am adicted to Ranch which I hear is not very healthy or low in fat. I will give this a try.
