The Morran Book Project

Camilla Engman is an artist that I absolutely adore.  I find her work delightfully original and authentic.   Her blog is an example I share often of an artist who give us a peek at her every day life.   I visit her regularly feeling a kindred connection to her personal world and her art.

Recently she shared that her beloved dog Morran was dying.  All of us who follow Camilla know the deep deep love she had for her Morran.  In a way I’d expect of Camilla she devised a creative project to help her cope, asking folks to send renditions of her Morran for a book who’s proceeds would all go to charity.

The unfolding of illustrations sent was beyond touching.  It was remarkable.

The completed absolutely charming book is available for sale and to completely view here

and the story of how it all became is shared at this blog
